50% L-Lactic Acid exfoliates the outer surface of the skin and encourages cell turnover. Suitable for most skin types, it has effective smoothing and freshening effects on the skin. Because it's a natural humectant, lactic acid provides hydrating and regenerating support as well. As with other AHAs, this formula is NOT self-neutralizing and may be used by itself progressively in consecutive treatments, as a prep prior to other acids, or as a finisher after certain enzymes.
