A must have formula in every treatment room. The synergy of kojic acid, azelaic acid, and L-arbutin (all natural brightening agents) with the tomato leaf extract base is a supportive melanin suppressant to use with all of your peeling formulas. As it aids in the suppression of melanin, Melanin Suppressant gives additional support when performing peels to minimize post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), adding antibacterial and antioxidant support to skin.
Apply to skin with gauze or brush prior to acid or enzyme application. Let remain on skin. Melanin Suppressant Solution may be used as a boost to certain acid formulas by adding one or two droppers in the acid and then applying to skin. Client feels very mild tingling when applied to skin prior to peel; however, the more the skin is treated, or if it is used after acids or a combined treatment, the sensation will be stronger. Melanin Suppressant Solution has many uses in the treatment room. There is no need to time the mixture and it may remain on the skin. If you are using an acid that is left on the skin, for example Lotus Peel, the Melanin Suppressant Solution will remain on the skin. If used prior to an AHA that is timed and removed, the mixture is useful in that it provides lightening support to the skin while the acid is on, even though it is rinsed off with the AHA.
