Energizing Cleanser for Men

AN INVIGORATING DAILY WASH DEVELOPED ESPECIALLY FOR MEN’S SKIN.

Men’s skin pH (the potential of hydration measured by the degree of acidity or alkalinity in the outer skin layers) is measured on a scale ranging from 0 to 14. A man’s skin pH level is normally 4.5, more acidic than a woman’s, so their body produces an acid mantle - a combination of oily fats and perspiration secreted to protect a proper pH level for men’s skin.

Most soaps or cleansers have an alkaline pH (9.5-11.0), and raise the pH of the skin, undermining the skin's natural defense system. Blue Agave, with a pH of 5.3, uses a powerful blend of salicylic and lactic acids, giving the cleansing base a boost for deeper softening of surface residue. Where alkaline pH’s loosen the fibers of keratin (the outer skin’s proteins) and create gaps in the protective covering, allowing more irritants, bacteria and viruses to penetrate into the skin, Blue Agave provides an energizing cleanse while maintaining the skin’s natural mantle.

  • Remind them this is an easy step to do in a steamy shower at home.
